In the end, it's not going to matter how many breaths you took, but how many moments took your breath away.......

From To Love and Be Love

We come to love not by finding a perfect person, but by learning to see an imperfect person perfectly. - Sam Keen

Happines & Gratitude

"Happiness cannot be traveled to, owned, earned, worn or consumed. Happiness is the spiritual experience of living evey minute with love, grace and gratitude." - Denis Waitley

A Poem About Women Focusing and Appreciating Their Blessings......................

Some women will always be prettier.
Some women will always be smarter.
Some women will have bigger houses.
Some will drive a better car.
Their children will do better in school.
And their husband will fix more things around the house.

So let it go, and love God, love your husband, love your family, love you and your circumstances.

Think about it!

The prettiest woman in the world can have hell in her heart.
The most highly favored woman at your job may be unable to have children.
The richest woman you know, has the best car, the best house, the best clothes~might be lonely.

And the Word says, 'If I have no love, I am nothing.'
So, again I say, love.

Love God, love your husband, love your family and love you.

Look in the mirror in the morning and smile and say,
'I am too blessed to be stressed and too anointed, to be dissappointed!'
See your blessings ladies and encourage another woman.

To the world you might be one person, to me you are special!

God Bless.

Beauty Tips

For attractive lips, speak words of kindness.
For lovely eyes, seek out the good in people.
For a slim figure, share your food with the hungry.
For beautiful hair, let a child run their fingers through it once a day.
For poise, walk with the knowledge that you never walk alone.
People, even more than things, have to be restored, renewed, revived, reclaimed and redeemed; never throw out anyone.
Remember, if you ever need a helping hand, you will find one at the end of each of your arms.
As you grow older, you will discover that you have two hands; one for helping yourself and the other for helping others.

Everyday when I check my email I receive one that takes me back to a moment in time when I remebered life differently. It reminds me how quickly time passes by and how life changes you. This email had a poem, it was written for a mother that has a daughter. As I read this poem I remembered when I first read it, a little over seven years ago. The irony is, I received the message differently now then when I first read it. Below is the poem:

The Images of Mother
At 4 yrs. of age a daugher will think of her mom: My Mommy can do anything!
At 8 - My Mom knows a lot! A whole lot!
At 12 - My Mother doesn't really know quite everything.
At 14 - Naturally, Mother doesn't know that, either.
At 16 - Mother? She's hopelessly old-fashioned.
At 18 - That old woman? She's way out of date!
At 25 - Well, she might know a little bit about it!
At 35 - Before we decide, let's get Mom's opinion.
At 45 - Wonder what Mom would have thought about it?
At 65 yrs. of age a daugher will think of her mom: Wish I could talk it over with Mom.

Seven years ago I read this poem as a daughter, now that my daughter is eight I read this as a mother and my heart pounds with fear to think of what's to come when she is at the age from 12 to 18.
